but they are way more. They are Great Friends, and we are blessed to have them. Yes, I am talking about Kyle, Malinda and Andy.

Right in the middle of a major stressful time for out family, my husband and I were discussing what to do about Justin and Jen's birthdays. Aug 16th and Aug, 17th. Jen came up and said, mom you can combine our birthdays on one day and because we need the days to get stuff packed.(Gotta love that kid.) Justin came up later and said the same thing, or that we could do something after we get moved to the new house. (Gotta love that kid too.)

Then I get a phone call, "Mama we were wondering if it would be okay if we made cakes for Justin and Jen's birthday, and do a kind of surprise thing for them." It was Kyle, Malinda and Andy. That was the best thing I had happen all day. So we put the super sneaky plan into action.

I told Jen I needed her help getting Justin out of the house while we set up stuff for his party, but she didn't know that Andy had cleared his day so he could drive Jen and Justin to eat subway. Andy was keeping Jen away from the house so we could set up stuff for her party too.

Malinda picked Kyle up from his house, so his car wouldn't be parked on our street, then they hid out at Malinda's house, right down the street, and when Andy took Jen and Justin out to eat, they hauled gifts and cakes to the house.

I picked up a few friends, they contacted others and gave the all clear to come over,then I called Andy to bring them home. They walked in to see a houseful of friends and two amzaing cakes.

It was a super amazing day, to watch my kids with the wonderful friends they have made in JC.

Malinda, Kyle and Andy, you are amazing friends, and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. We will keep in touch and you know as I have told you many times, I am so glad that my kids have such wonderful people in their lives.


Thank you Malinda, Kyle and Andy, for making Justin and Jennifer's birthday super amazing. Especially during this crazy time in our world. You guys are dear to all of us.

And to all the friends who were able to attend and make this day so special, thank you and stay in touch.

(We did have a friend who couldn't make it due to illness, and the other friend had to take care of him, but they were here in spirit.)
